Single Ingredient Simplicity

The next time you sit down to a meal do a quick review of your plate. Is it made up of single ingredient foods, or are the majority of the foods on your plate processed.

If you made one shift for the rest of 2020 you’d likely be able to maintain your weight until 2021. It’s pretty simple, fill most of your plate with lean single ingredient proteins like chicken, lean beef, fish etc. Add a fruit or vegetable and if you want a healthy carb source like sweet potatoes or rice.

Rinse and repeat for the majority of your meals each week. If you can do that you should have no problems with mostly free eating at whatever holiday events may come. That is if they aren’t all cancelled this year.
