Thanksgiving is over and most of the pie should be gone. Now is the time to make a decision, do you continue with the gluttony? Or get back to a normal eating plan.
Being that the title to this post is Back to Normal the answer is pretty obvious. It’s easier said than done, so how do you do that.
First you have to make that conscious decision. Be aware of what you’re doing and continue to make a choice to eat healthy. If you don’t actively engage your brain it’s easy to just slide through the remainder of the year eating anything and everything.
Second don’t beat yourself up if you went completely off the rails over Thanksgiving. The best thing we can have when it comes to off plan eating or not sticking to a plan is a short memory. Refocus on the future and leave the past behind you.
Third at the very least stick to your workout schedule if the eating continues. If you’ve been working out for a while you can right the ship rather quickly once the new year starts if need be.
