I’ve talked about the idea of go-to meals before and they work because they take the guesswork out of things. I eat the above every morning, 5-6 days a week and if I need a change I usually have eggs. The above is my number one and eggs are my number two, it’s easy.
Occasionally I’ll stray from one of those two options but not very often. The plus side is I know to a T the calories and macros those two breakfasts give me.
And lunch is pretty similar, the below is a staple for lunch. A big green salad with a ton of veggies, then I usually pair that with a protein.
Dinner is a bit different since it’s usually a family meal and is highly variable, especially when you throw the kids in the mix. The things is I do my best to make it a trackable meal that way I can make it fit in my goals.
It’s not super hard, in fact it’s quite boring at times, but that boring slog and staying consistent with it is where the magic happens.
