My weekly goal for workouts is 4 days in the gym or 4 strength workouts. I also shoot for a few walks each week too.
When I consistently get in my strength workouts my ability to stick to my nutrition plan is exponentially better.
I’m not exactly sure why that is. Maybe I don’t want to sabotage all my work in the gym. Maybe it’s the structure it creates in my week/day.
Maybe it’s none of those. Whatever the reason, I know that it’s important to get my workouts in otherwise if I don’t things start to go south pretty quickly.
Sometimes it’s the base level habits that allow us to succeed on the next level habits. So experiment and find your base level habits that can unlock the next level ones.
