For the vast majority there is no need to take supplements. Why you might ask? They just aren’t game changers as much as they market to you that they are.
I’m not against supplements, I use them myself. It’s just that for the majority of guys looking to drop some body fat, get stronger, or feel better, time and money is better spent focusing on the basics.
Those basics being strength training a few times a week, eating a mostly whole food diet, and sleeping 7-9 hours a night.
That’s not an exhaustive list but I’d say until those are done and done well there’s not a ton of reason to consider using supplements.
You can get pretty far toward most goals if you can execute those things consistently. Supplements are the fine tuning.
